I think this tumblr blog needs to be closed. I was collecting things because I liked it and also because it was a nice companion to me writing about Internet folklore. Now I am still checking out the tumblrs I follow on a daily basis, but I feel this is the end for the cpb.tumblr.blog. Internet subcultures have a mind of their own now, and they profit from a tribazillion sources and relays, much more than 2007 when I started this image blog. Back then, Internet folklore was not exactly invisible (it had already surfaced) but now, I feel way too redundant compared to the many creative propagation channels everywhere.
I still have the cpbnews.tumblr.com, for news about my research and university work ; also, the cpbhomes.tumblr.com which has absolutely nothing to do with anything featured here, but which will go on nonetheless as a personal homage to private homes’ architecture ; oh ! and also a tumblr dedicated to my cats since the little one joined us. The rest is on my website.
Cheers everyone, and keep up the good tumblin’ fun.
